Haiyun is a compassionate and dedicated legal practitioner with over 12 years of extensive experience in family law, wills and estates, and property law. Before pursuing his legal career, he worked as a marketing professional.

Haiyun practices primarily in litigious and non-litigious matters in family law, including.

• Advising on divorce, property settlement, superannuation splitting, child support, spousal maintenance support and parenting arrangement (including recovery orders, location orders, relocation orders, add /remove airport watchlist orders, etc);
• Negotiating property settlement and parenting arrangement terms either privately or via a mediator;
• Applying for consent orders for property settlement and /or parenting orders;
• He drafts and reviews binding financial agreements, binding superannuation agreements, and binding child support agreements. Solicitor advice and certificates are provided with these services.
• He represents or defends parties in family law proceedings. He prepares and files applications or responses, supporting affidavits, financial statements, and other court documents. He appears and/or briefs barristers for directions, mention hearings, conciliation conferences, family dispute resolution conferences, private mediations, and interim defended or trial matters.

Outside of his legal career, Haiyun enjoys travelling with his family, connecting with friends and doing pro-bono legal and administrative work for his church.
