Vinu Kumar

Vinu is an Australian Legal Practitioner and the Principal Solicitor at VK Lawyers. Vinu began his career as a mechanical and manufacturing engineer; Vinu’s calm, caring nature together with his urge for perfection in anything he was involved in became a stepping stone for his career progression.

Before his admission as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2020, Vinu had over three decades of experience in several roles, including senior commercial and contracts manager at a large multinational corporation.

Vinu completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Master of Commercial Law from Australian Universities. Vinu brings his life experiences and academic skills to realise the vision of VK Lawyers.

At VK Lawyers, Vinu provides his expertise to our clients in commercialising their technical projects, legal advice for contractual matters, working with clients from the concept stage to legal entity incorporation, and preparing legally binding documents.

He helps clients foresee and mitigate risks and potential liabilities in contractual documents. In addition, Vinu also deals with family matters; his life experience and calm and composed nature give our clients an added advantage when dealing with their difficult situations.

Vinu’s expertise includes reviewing terms and conditions, handling commercial contracts, leasing and subleasing arrangements, contract negotiations, wills and probate, conveyancing, and property dispute matters, including trademark registration.
